Integrating Law Enforcement with Illegal Dumping Issues

Not unlike many cities in region, the blight and expense of dealing with illegal dumping is a growing concern for the City of Vallejo. On average, Vallejo Public Works crews collect 800 tons of illegally dumped material each year. In response to this growing issue, Vallejo has recently expanded its law enforcement and outreach efforts as a part of its multi-pronged approach to combating this issue in their community. 

You are invited to attend this exciting workshop on how to establish and maintain an effective illegal dumping program. Topics that will be covered during the workshop include:

  • Concerns and Impacts of Illegal Dumping
  • Effective Criminal and Civil Responses to Illegal Dumping
  • Code Enforcement Strategies for Illegal Dumping
